The controller operates the automatic cycle and allows for manual operation as well. Job information, such as part length and quantity, is entered through the interface Touch Screen.
Up to 99 different jobs can be entered into the PLC memory, and can be called up and performed at any time. Also, a JOB QUEUE function allows up to 5 jobs to be picked from the memory, and run consecutively.
A wide variety of languages can be chosen for message screen display.
Manual mode: Allows for a fast one cut operation. In this mode all functions are controlled and initialized by the operator. The display shows blade tension, blade speed, blade height position, run time of the blade, run time of the cut and blade drive motor amperage draw.
Automatic mode: The controller displays blade speed, blade tension part length, quantity required, and piece count, job run time, total blade run time The machine will shut down when the required number of pieces have been cut.
Product update: Guards
If Tool Holders are outfitted with the Smart Tool Locator®, the thickness of the Guard will be approx. 25 mm in all cases.Guards for Easy to Move® (E2M®)
All our Tool Holders can be supplied (for a small extra charge) with ‘E2M Guards’ featuring a safety device to prevent tools from rolling out accidentally. In all cases, these Guards will be made from hardened metal and have a thickness of approx. 25 mm.
N.B.: We strongly recommend using ‘E2M®-Guards’ when using tools featuring E2M®!

Haeger’s Most Universal and Cost Effective Machines The 824 MSP is our most cost effective machine providing single part handling (insert 4 different fasteners, each with different pressure settings in the same part handling), autofeed option, positive stop and batch counter included, limited program storage, English and Spanish language, and very simple and easy to learn and master. See below for all of the options and benefits of the 824 MSP. 824 MSP The 824 MSP is best suited for mid to high volume parts with fasteners up to 0616 (M10) in mild steel and 0420 (M6) in stainless. This machine is also good for soft aluminum parts with the positive stop feature where force required is less than 1000 lbs. The 824 MSP also has a 4 station lower turret with which you can insert 1 fastener automatically and three different fasteners manually allowing you to get the benefit of single part handling which allows you to increase your process flow by inserting four different fasteners all with their own pressure settings and only handle the part once, eliminating the bottleneck. This machine however does not have quality control with fastener length, fastener detection, or insertion mapping.
